Gospel Culture

At Church 127, we care deeply about both our doctrine and our culture. What we believe shapes how we live. When the truth about Jesus takes root in us, it changes the atmosphere around us. That’s what we call a gospel culturewhere gospel truth builds a gospel home.

  • Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves.

    (Philippians 2:3)

  • Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.

    (Romans 12:10)

  • But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.

    (1 John 1:7)

  • Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.

    (Romans 15:7)

  • We want you to know, brothers, about the grace of God that has been given among the churches of Macedonia, for in a severe test of affliction, their abundance of joy and their extreme poverty have overflowed in a wealth of generosity on their part. For they gave according to their mans, as I can testify, and beyond their means, of their own accord, begging us earnestly for the favor of taking part in the relief of the saints—and this, not as we expected, but they gave themselves first to the Lord and then by the will of God to us.

    (2 Corinthians 8:1-5)

  • Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice.

    (Philippians 4:4)
